and Godwin Ligo (FM107) at the launch of the new website

The Fest’Napuan Association and Vanuatu Online are proud to announce the launch of a new website for the distribution of Vanuatu music. This is the first Vanuatu website to sell digital versions of songs from Vanuatu in mp3 format. The website is viewable at www.vanuatumusic.com.

The official launch took place at Capitol FM 107 on Thursday, May 17, 2007.

Fest’Napuan is currently canvassing the music community for the permissions to convert the tracks to mp3 format and sell the songs to the public online. Only bands who give permission will have songs sold on this website.

The proceeds from the sale of music online will go back to original composer of the songs.

The new website joins www.vanuatuculture.org and www.furtherarts.org as the focal points for online Vanuatu culture.
