Last Thursday, a talented group of young photographers showcased their creativity and technical skills at the opening of the Wan Smolbag 'Ol Tingting Blong Ol Yangfala' exhibition, currently open to the public at the National Museum. A large crowd gathered on Thursday evening to celebrate both the photographers and the photographs, and Alex Aron was chosen by secret ballot as the 'Viewer's Choice' award - receiving a brand new digital camera for her captivating efforts. The camera was kindly donated by Leith Campbell and TopShots, Port Vila.
We invite you all to come and view the exhibition, open until the 10th of November, and you can take a slice of Smolbag brilliance home with you - all photos are for sale for 2000vt each, with all proceeds going to the artist.
Once again, many thanks to Caroline Mastreani and Wan Smolbag, who coordinated the photography course and organised this wonderful event.
