An educational coloring story book in the three official languages of Vanuatu, French, English and Bislama, including a brief lexicon. An oral tradition, from the island of Ambrym, about Rat and Nambilak that went to the bush and pick the bread fruit belonging to Titamol (Lisepsep). When Titamol wake up, Nambilak flew and rat hid in a hole. Nambilak came to save him. This incident causes the rat to lose its fur on its tail until today.

Ce récit, du village de Sesivi à de l'île d'Ambrym, conte les aventures d'un Rat et d'un Nambilak (Râle), partis ceuillir les fruits de l'arbre à pin d'un vilain Titamol (Lutin). Pourchassé par Titamol, le rat se réfugie dans un trou et son ami Nambilak vient le sauver tant bien que mal. Depuis lors, les rats n'ont plus de poils derrière leurs queues.
